Since the new baby arrived it has been extra challenging sitting down to write any posts, but I just had to get one up today for Father’s Day.  I’m still in the thick of life with a newborn and didn’t have a chance to run out to the store to get a card, but if I had, this message pretty much sums up what it would have said….

David, to say I am grateful for you, a guy who has taken on the chaos of fatherhood in stride, would be an understatement. I feel so lucky to have a true partner in crime to navigate parenthood with, someone who not only plays the role of dad, but who fully embraces it. I always knew you would be a great dad, and this is one of the qualities that drew me to you early on, but I can honestly say that your devotion to being a father has far exceeded my expectations. Watching your relationship with Jackson grow has been amazing, and I can’t wait to see the bond you form with Emmy. I have a feeling she’s going to be a total daddy’s girl!
